每句均節錄自可核對的歷史原文，保留作者、作品及來源。中文與英文各自選用原語言作品，沒有生成、改寫或新作翻譯。類別是 Paperie 的編目，並非作者對作品的分類或功效承諾。
Every quotation is an excerpt from a verifiable historical text. Chinese and English selections are independent original-language excerpts, not translations of each other. Paperie does not generate, paraphrase or translate quotation text. Categories are Paperie’s editorial indexing, not the authors’ own classifications.
目前選集為六類共24句，繁體中文及英文各12句。連線時下載目前選集並隨機選句；離線備用亦使用同一份經核對的歷史選集。已保存的日曆保留當時原文，不因網站更新而改寫。舊版原創小語及新作翻譯已撤出新選集。
The current collection contains 24 excerpts across six categories, 12 in each language. The current collection is downloaded for random selection; the bundled offline collection contains the same verified historical texts. Previously placed day papers retain their saved words. Earlier Paperie-written lines and new translations have been withdrawn from new selections.

中文選句採 chinese-poetry《唐詩三百首》的繁體原文，固定資料版本 b8594f81a89752241442f2ce267d6f66f96704ee。英文採 Carroll、Thoreau、Dickinson 及 Shakespeare 的歷史英文版；每句連至所用原典版本。詩行只整理排版空白，未改動文字、大小寫或標點。節錄可為原文的一行或連續片段。
Chinese excerpts use the Traditional Chinese primary-text corpus at the pinned revision linked in the ledger. English excerpts use historical editions of Carroll, Thoreau, Dickinson and Shakespeare. Only layout whitespace is normalized. Excerpts may be a complete line or a contiguous passage; original wording, case and punctuation are retained.
